The San Dieguito Half Marathon, which is one of the oldest half marathons in America, boasts a stunning course that cuts through the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. The out-and-back route starts and finishes at the San Dieguito Country Park. The race takes place on undulating paved roads that lead runners past the beautiful San Dieguito Reservoir, Rancho Santa Fe Golf Course, lots of wildlife and many grand homes. There is also an out-and-back 5k and a brillliant beer garden awaits those old enough at the end.
